Dallas Cowboys fans will see a change in their home schedule this Sunday when the team hosts the Arizona Cardinals. The Week 8 matchup is scheduled for 12 p.m. central and will air on FOX 4. This game matters because the Cowboys have never defeated the Cardinals at AT&T Stadium since the venue opened in 2009.

The Cowboys enter the game with a 3-4 record. Their latest victory came Monday night against the Philadelphia Eagles. Dallas won that contest 38-21 to improve their standing in the NFC East to 2-1. That win was the team's first in its last three games. It provided a boost after a rough stretch in October.

The offense found new life in that Monday night game. The running game produced 204 yards in total. Javonte Williams carried the ball for 155 of those yards. That single performance surpassed the team's rushing output from the previous three games combined. Williams is currently tied for the NFL lead in touchdowns with nine scores. He has rushed for eight of those and caught one pass for a score.

Quarterback Dak Prescott contributed to the balanced attack. He passed for 212 yards and threw three touchdowns against the Eagles. CeeDee Lamb continues to lead the team in receiving production. He has accumulated 651 receiving yards and six touchdowns this season.

The Cardinals arrive in Arlington with a 2-5 record. Arizona is in a rebuilding phase, and its two wins came at SoFi Stadium. Those victories were against the Los Angeles Chargers and the Los Angeles Rams. The team has struggled to win on the road or at home elsewhere this season.

Historical data favors the visitors in this specific matchup. Arizona has beaten Dallas eight of the last nine times the teams have played. The Cardinals hold a 4-0 record against Dallas at AT&T Stadium. Last season, the Cardinals won only one game in their final 15. That sole victory came against the Cowboys with a 27-17 final score.

The Cardinals will lean heavily on tight end Trey McBride. He leads the league with 59 catches in seven games. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett is expected to target him frequently. Rookie running back Jeremiyah Love is also back in the lineup. He missed several recent games due to an ankle injury.

The teams last met in 2025, where the Cardinals secured the win in Arlington. That pattern has persisted for nearly two decades. The Cowboys must beat that record on Sunday to shift the momentum in their favor. The outcome will determine if Dallas can end the long run of losses to Arizona at home.
